Job Description – Administrator
Reports To – Home Manager
To give outstanding customer care to every visitor or caller and to provide full administrative support for the Home.
•To ensure each visitor to the Home is welcomed.
•To, in the Manager’s absence, conduct a show round the Home for any visitor who requires one in accordance with the training received from central office.
•To present the Home in a positive light and obtain details of all visitors in order that follow ups can be made.
•To ensure that the reception area is neat and tidy and welcoming.
•To ensure that refreshments are given to all visitors.
•To take responsibility for solving problems and queries brought by visitors or/and internal and external bodies.
•To update CoolCare as appropriate.
•Control of petty cash.
•Ensure the efficient running of accounts and cash collection.
•Ensure all post is opened, stamped and distributed to relevant persons, including financial documents to be sent to CO.
•Input staff attendance and send to Payroll in accordance with deadlines.
•Ensure that all personnel files and immigration documents are within the National minimum standards.
•To engender an atmosphere of co-operation and positivity within the home dealing with Residents, colleagues and suppliers with courtesy and respect at all times.
•Any other duties that the Manager may deem necessary.
This is a stand alone role with responsibility for providing excellent customer service to every visitor to the Home. In addition this role should support the Home Manager by undertaking all administrative duties.
