BMW M3 Evo (E36) Convertible
£12.000
Description
OK – here we go … time has come for me to let go and down size some of my collection-of-future classics. Here is one such beauty.
I have owned the vehicle for 5–years now.
It has been pampered, improved, brought back to an OEM set-up through this time. Stored in a temperature controlled, secure garage, covered and polished (too frequently!) when not in use.
It only gets taxed for 6 months of the year – it is SORNED for all of the Autumn and Winter. It is immaculate, Only taken out in the dry and then driven properly (let oil warm up and cool down)
The details are:
6-speed manual gearbox.
Currently reading 99,300 miles (was at 96,850 ish when I bought it).
Super colour - Orient Blue.
Lovely Rolls Royce magnolia leather with peacock blue piping
Full Service History recently through independents but all BMW in its first few years.
I prefer to use local experts rather than the main dealers as they are more caring I feel.
1999 (originally on a “T” registration), but comes with the registration plate M3 FSV
Incredible specification (which includes the usual goodies you expect- electric windows / mirrors; central locking; Electric roof; climate control) plus
-Electric heated seats
-Headlight washers
-Reverse Parking Sensors
-Becker satellite navigation & in-car entertainment system (very, very good indeed)
-Proper BMW Overmats
-Matching Orient Blue Hardtop
-Genuine BMW E36 wind deflector
-Stainless steel exhaust
-Original BMW Wash kit
-Full and complete BMW Toolkit
-Wood pack (but lets be honest – its still plastic – it just looks like wood!)
The car has undergone a thorough mechanical inspection and over the last couple of years has been brought back to showroom condition. Things done / changed whilst I have owned it (crumbs – this could be a long list!)
-Replacement clutch and flywheel
-The hood mechanism has been overhauled and the rear screen has been replaced with a new (none cloudy) item.
-New suspension all round (it was riding-low when I purchased it – not nice … back to factory spec dampers and ride height – so much better now
-Rust treatment for a 1-pence size blister on each of the rear quarters – rectified and resprayed professionally
-Oil and fluid changes every year (approx. 500 miles is what I do a year in it – its just a summer time toy to be enjoyed)
-Replaced Brake discs and pads (discs are better than OEM – same size, but drilled and grooved for better cooling)
-Recent new tyres front and back (done less than 300 miles on them – all the correct sizes)
-Vanos checked and all working correctly
-Air-conditioning system has been re-gassed
Car has recently undergone a full detailing – so it is in spanking-condition !!
A folder full of receipts from me (including old tax discs if this is your fancy!) and records from all previous owners - all kept chronologically so you can see the maintenance that has been lavished on it. Hand books and service books are correct and present too.
This is certainly not the cheapest M3 out there but I absolutely believe it to be the best
Located in North Wales.
I am in no rush to sell – so please genuine enquiries only and I will only sell to an like-minded enthusiast
Many thanks for looking.
