For over 17 years the North West Air Ambulance have been providing rapid response to incident victims by dispatching professional medical teams to incidents scenes or rapid transfer between hospitals using their Air Ambulance Helicopters.
The service is funded by the generosity of the public through donations, fundraising activity, NWAA lottery membership and through their network of retails outlets, who provide vital charitable funding to keep their service flying.
With the operational costs of the service reaching £5m per year the fundraising strategy is high on the charity’s agenda. As a result, the NWAA is now seeking a talented, inspired and enthusiastic Fundraiser to join their team and operate within the Cheshire region. Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, you work alongside the Fundraising team to ensure effective delivery of the fundraising strategy on a regional level.
You’ll lead on the implementation of the fundraising strategy and be the point of contact for corporate partners, supporters and volunteers within your region. You’ll also be responsible for building and cultivating strong relationships with supporters, recruiting new supporters and delivering excellent fundraising activity cross the region while utilising NWAA initiatives and programmes.
You’ll be an excellent communicator at all levels and have the ability to develop successful relationships. You’ll be a master organiser, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once while working autonomously.
This is an amazing opportunity for someone with experience in effective fundraising as a professional or volunteer fundraiser or relevant experience in a customer care or account manager role.
