Working out of the LetsJoin office in Shoreditch, London, the Digital Media Sales Assistant’s primary role is to deliver advertising revenue into the display and advertorial budget line by selling digital and mobile advertising solutions to a large base of accounts. You will be an important part of an innovative team responsible for the continued growth, development and success of the LetsJoin brand.
You will be responsible for achieving and exceeding budget through your own digital sales and through assisting the rest of the LetsJoin team to increase revenue.
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the accelerated growth of our brand, working closely to develop and deliver innovative, market-leading solutions.
You will personally account manage existing clients and agencies; pitch and develop new business; understand and monitor the market and strive to develop exciting and market leading client solutions across LetsJoin.
Accountabilities:
Revenue:
• Responsible for hitting & exceeding monthly digital budgets
• Accurate weekly and ad-hoc forecasting & pipeline reporting to the Managing Director
• Annual sales planning & strategy with quarterly updates & revisions
• Work closely with editorial on planning and new initiatives
• Work closely with design and product development on new digital products
• Responsible for all digital sales collateral and development of sales story
• Work closely with design on best of breed presentations and pitches
• Management of LetsJoin campaign delivery, optimisation & best practice reporting, working closely with Ad Ops
Sales & account management of own client base to include:
• Responsible for generating sales from client and agency base
• Growing revenues & market share from existing client base
• Full management & servicing of digital agencies & developing deep relationships with relevant agency contacts, including at senior level
• Full management & servicing of direct clients
• Feedback of all meetings & bookings via advertising sales list
• Accurate personal pipeline reporting & forecasting
• Chasing copy where appropriate & full responsibility for all client & agency liaison
• Online campaign delivery, management & reporting, working with Ad Ops & production
New business responsibilities to include:
• Ongoing competitor analysis
• Develop strong understanding of competitor brands across print & online
• Identify new clients & sectors to target
• Develop new ideas/areas on the sites
• New business pitching – both client direct & agency
Competencies:
• Digital sales experience essential
• Digital agency contacts important
• Understanding of the digital marketplace, trends and innovation
• Mobile ad sales experience beneficial
• Excellent sales, negotiation and presentation skills as well as keen attention to detail
• Strong new business skills and tenacious approach
• A strong team player with a proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales revenues
• The ability to devise creative online cross-portfolio marketing solutions
• Excellent knowledge and ability to apply all the latest applicable research and data within sales process
• Sound understanding of ad ops processes, trafficking, reporting and campaign management
