Host Savoie is seeking highly-motivated and dedicated people to fill a variety of chalet roles this coming winter season in Morzine (French Alps).
We are a small and friendly chalet operator that is still run by its owners, and nothing but extra-mile service is good enough for our loyal guests. There are few better places to spend a winter season than the fabulous Portes du Soleil and by working as part of a small team of 10 your efforts will be both recognised and rewarded. Exceptional candidates with a "work hard play hard" attitude will spend 5 months creating a lifetime of memories.
Successful applicants will need to be available for the entire season (December to April) and eligible to work in France under a UK contract. You will need a UK bank account, National Insurance number and a full driving licence. The following characteristics are vital for all positions on the team:

* A determination to prioritise customer service with a smile ahead of your own free time.
Roles available for Winter 2016/17 are as follows:
*Chalet Hosts*: You will be responsible for a chalet sleeping between 12 and 16 people and for the preparation and service of breakfast and evening meals 6 days a week. You will be required to shop to a budget, cook delicious hearty meals with fresh local produce, keep your chalet spotlessly clean and comply with local hygiene laws. Whilst formal cooking qualifications are not essential you do need to be a competent and experienced cook with experience in a commercial catering environment.
*Chalet Assistants*: This vital role combines housekeeping with table service duties and experience in either or both of these areas is desirable. Working alongside a Chalet Host you will be responsible for the cleanliness and presentation of the chalets on a daily basis as well as the physically demanding deep cleans of changeover day. You will also be in constant contact with guests, helping to ensure that they have relaxed and enjoyable breakfasts and evening meals.
*Team Leader*: Based at our largest Chalet you will have overall responsibility for the welfare and enjoyment of up to 24 guests. You will be expected to lead from the front when it comes to housekeeping and table service, whilst also communicating effectively with Assistants and a Chef to ensure the delivery of extra-mile customer service. With responsibility for bar stock control, accurate record keeping and customer account payments (bar and ski hire sales) the ideal candidate requires some bookkeeping and/or administrative experience. A track record in hospitality is also desirable.
