Available 28th August. Firstly this is for ONE PERSON (NOT A COUPLE) and it is a very quiet house. You must be a working professional (NO DHSS). No one else allowed to stay..that means no girlfriends or boyfriends staying over..... It is not available to view for a few weeks as there is still someone in there. The house is in Kent House Rd, Beckenham. Owners live in separate accom downstairs. Accommodation suitable for someone who wants a room in QUIET house. You have access to the kitchen and bathroom which you will share with other occupants upstairs. (1 professional female and 1 retired gentleman) There will only be 3 people total upstairs, thats including yourself..Owners have their own accom / kitchen /bathroom downstairs..
The room available is a double room with a 3/4 bed in it. (Thats bigger than a single and smaller than a double). You pay one calendar month £475 rent and £200 deposit when you move in. This is inclusive of bills and internet.....there is nothing extra to pay.....Kent House Rd BR3 is 5 mins walking to Kent house Railway Station and 7 mins walking to New Beckenham Station. Train takes approx 16-18 mins into London. No Pets as you do not have access to garden.No Dhss. No guests to stay over. The kitchen has fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine. The bathroom has a bath and power shower and all decor is neutral and modern. You must do you share of cleaning the bathroom and kitchen after each use. This is how we work and it is only fair on your house mates. There is internet connection which is included in the rent.
Beckenham is on the South East London-Kent border (actually classed as Greater London). Beckenham High Street (10 minutes away on a bus, has lots of restaurants and pubs a Cinema and a Leisure centre with Swimming Pool and Gym. Equally as close; less than 10 mins on a bus is Crystal Palace, with lots of restaurants and off course a very large park. Also very convenient for shopping is Penge high street - 5 minutes walk away with a Sainsburys and Lidl. There is a Tesco express a few mins walk at the end of Kent House Rd.
The Commute to Central London is very stress free there are four trains an hour at peak times from Kent House Station (4 min walk) to London Victoria and takes just over 15 mins. It's also only 11 minutes to the nearest tube line at Brixton (Victoria Line). There is also a peak time service to Blackfriars(two an hour). Otherwise there is New Beckenham (5 min walk) with lots of trains to Charing Cross and Cannon Street. If you prefer a bus you can take the 176 which takes you all the way from Penge High Street to Trafalgar Square (50 mins in rush hour). There Is also a Croydon Tramlink stop under 10 mins walk away with regular trams to Croydon and Wimbledon.
