Trainee Shift Coordinator / Admin Assistant - Care At Home Services
Ailsa Care Services deliver care and support to a large number of Service Users within their own homes across Scotland.
We are currently seeking a Trainee Care At Home Shift Coordinator / Administration Assistant to join our team in Renfrewshire.
Our Shift Coordinators are predominately based at our Head Office in Renfrew, but must be able to rotate between office and frontline duties.
Our Shift Coordinators work hard to ensure organization of staffing schedules, fulfilment of staffing requests, and input staff sickness/holiday requests.
Additionally, our Shift Coordinators will be required to liaise with new clients and assist Human Resources in various tasks. These skills require a great deal of organizational skills, attention to detail, and great communication skills.
Responsibilities
• Answer a high volume of calls from staff, service users and third party teams.
• Allocate shifts using our online company rota database.
• Covering care shifts in the community for holidays/sickness
• Visit new clients homes and perform initial assessments/setup care plans/packages
• On-call duties on a rotational pattern
• Perform reviews/answer queries, complaints
This is a demanding role, but, for someone with care / admin experience looking to progress their career, this is an opportunity to receive full training as a Shift Coordinator and become an integral part of our in house team.
We offer an hourly rate of £7.20 per hour, good annual leave entitlement and full training of our online systems will be provided.
