VW T4 Caravelle, SWB, Twin Sliding Doors, Tailgate, NEW Interior, Serviced, Lots of New Parts Fitted
£1.950
Description
Since buying this, I have completely stripped/overhauled the interior and mechanically it's had everything needed & more. Body wise, most of the fixtures have been replaced also
LEZ Exempt
Short wheelbase
Twin sliding doors, with opening middle windows both sides
Tailgate version
2.0 petrol engine - I love these, they're bullet proof, cheap for parts, similar mpg to the 1.9 diesel - yet much nicer to drive and geared better also
5 speed manual
Mot'd until September 2016
I've basically been through the van front to back and done everything it's needed, plus more that it didn't.
It now just needs the bodywork doing and it will be sitting perfect. The usual places need attention i.e wheel arches, fuel cap area, bottom edges of the doors, etc. However part of what attracted me to it is how straight it is both sides. These are hard to rectify if not in good shape, the issues mentioned are all sorted easily with repair/replacement sections available
I do have the handbooks, some history and paperwork from previous owners. At one point it did have a camping interior fitted, I have a engineers report signing this off. It would be very easy to get it reclassified as a camper van - if that was your intention?
I'm selling as It’s just not quite going to be big enough for my intended camper version, and have bought a LWB version instead
Will be sold on steel wheels, with 4 x good tyres and not the alloys pictured - we can haggle on those if you're interested?
